Unstilting

Have been informed that writing style on blog is stilted. Am in full agreement. Decided I am exceedingly busy and therefore am half-assed toward bloggery duties. Am tempted remain "stilted" out of sheer stubbornness. Then friend pointed out stilted bloggery makes readers believe standard writing of fiction also tedious.

Right. Am therefore unstilting.

Mind you, I remain ever myself and change only as it suits my purposes. I'll find my stride soon enough.

Other shit: I sent off interview questions to John and am awaiting his reply. I can hardly wait for the responses. John is quite a big deal in the modelling industry.

New neighbor, W-r seems taken with M. Might there be love in the air this spring? It is also possible that Mi is not as please as I. I'm not sure if glower was directed at Ma or W-r as we waited for elevator yesterday morning.

Note to self: "Mia, loosen up."

Ogling

Attempted Lesbian appreciation without success. J will be pleased to know was able to engage in make-out session and minor petting. However mostly induced by Sunrise Martinis and unrelenting fascination of attractive man with lovely salt-and-peppering above ears. Quickly dumped female companion for more than six feet of man with wide shoulders to hold. No regrets.

MiMa in another row. Mi stomped like a six-year-old from apartment, tapped foot impatiently at elevator doors as Ma yelled and smacked his back several times. Gist of argument involved toothpaste goo in sink with reference to stove top "mess" from hot-dish. Mi appeared suitably irritated, as he should. Was impressed he did not do more than huff impatiently and resort to stairs. Well done, Mi.

Note to self: "Mia, suggest to Mi that own apartment results in fewer arguments. Recommend recently opened apartment next door to me as would hate to lose such fantastic domestic displays altogether."

Mia, the bad influence

Spent weekend in total debauchery. Must now resume girding of work appropriate nature and attire. However, am somewhat reluctant to give in to rigor and shall see what mischief I might find. Do not have new hires today as they are beyond my department. Is unfortunate as I had much more to stoke fires of fear.

Will go in to work early for the purpose of kidnapping neighboring co-worker's Beanie Baby. Plan to bind and gag, photograph, and issue ransom note. Perhaps lay tiny dildo across its aqua lap.

Note to self: "Mia, ransom note should indicate urgency and sum payable in red M&Ms. See if Mi (from apartment complex) can be brought in to assist as is in dire need of excitement not involving raised vocal objections from live-in-mother, Ma."

Fighting MiMo

MiMa in fight. I followed them to the elevator hoping for details but both grew silent when doors shut. I took extra time unlocking my door as they began yelling the minute their apartment door shut again. It appears young Mi was seen snogging by an acquaintance of Ma's.

Am completely shocked as I didn't realize Mi had it in him. Perhaps some poor girls took pity and snogged him at inopportune time?

Note to self: "Mia, if truly desperate, unbutton top of blouse next elevator go with Mi."

People Watching

M has woken my new obsession with people watching. She's an interesting subject, but there are many worthy "insects" on my floor for my watching pleasure. I shall introduce the players for you.

M: long, straight brown hair. No makeup and usually wearing solid earth-toned colors. M doesn't talk to anyone that I've seen, but seems to harbor the hope of immediate sex. Will explain in later blog (by far, M is my favorite subject to date). Mousy but not unattractive if one actually looks. She walks around with a book under her nose. I saw her once with a book in her hand and looking up at the elevator numbers. Once and only time that occurred.

T: short, african-american with shoulder-length hair. Dimples on either side of mouth. Mother had a sense of humor. She is named after a favorite Mexican liquor with a worm. I heard her laugh in the hall with a friend when she confessed her sister is named after a Mexican beer (C), pass the lemon. C does not live with T. T lives alone. May be a student at the local U.

Mi and his mother Ma: Mi is late twenties, curly blond hair and appears to have blue eyes. Not sure, will have to investigate. Blushes whenever I greet him in elevator or at mailboxes. Ma, pushy and workaholic. Mi and Ma share an apartment at opposite end.

Will watch for other building people to make an appearance. Should be an interesting study.
