Zero Trust

If someone lies to you once, you wonder if they will do it again. If someone lies to you twice, you get uneasy and expect that they will most likely do it again. If you catch them in a third lie, you can fairly accurately say that it's a pattern of behavior.

Companies are no different. So tell me, please, why when a company lies to you repeatedly and you distrust their motives and their words, why it is that they get so hell-fire pissed off when you try to cover your own ass? I'll tell you why. It's because they know they've been caught and if they can scare you off the scent, they'll do it.

That's why they like to pull out their big dog. The one who wears the hat and gets snarly and mean. The one who makes up the rules and changes the rules according to what they think they can defend.

Fortunately, I don't scare easily. I have a lawyer shaped collar with a calculator and it's going in for a choke hold.
