Also go over to Stumbling Over Chaos blog, because today is the last day to post a comment in the drawing for Faking Perfection (DreamSpinner), which releases tomorrow. There is also a drawing that's still open for a copy of Wrong Number, Right Guy (Amber Allure), releasing the 27th!!

Hey, Guess What?
Chris at Stumbling Over Chaos is running a contest for my upcoming release, Unchaste. Follow the link to enter. Here's the blurbage:
The mystical Portal of the Gods transports Flynn Chula, shifter and descendant of the Cahokia Indians, six hundred years in the past. Right into a tribal feud between Amaro and Koda, warriors of the empire. While Flynn finds his new circumstances impossible, Amaro and Koda know exactly what to do. Their culture dictates that shifters have to be tested, proving their place among the people--as priests. Only one high priest can rule the empire at a time, but the current apprentice reigns with blood sacrifice and fear.
As the sexual preparations begin, Koda and Amaro do their duty to rid him of any possible heterosexual leanings...by giving themselves to him wholly. Flynn, who's never wanted a woman in his life, can't believe his luck. Two hunky men can't get enough of him, and their eager to learn all the tricks.
When the blood priest discovers the plot to overthrow him, will Flynn, Koda, and Amaro escape alive, or will more than blood be lost on the altar?
One of the commenters brought to my attention that she's confused by the above because she's never heard of a challenge involving sex as a plot tool. I'm in total agreement. It's just really hard to get three men, the emotional, the physical, the conflict and the hook into 200 words or less when you have a three male menage and are trying to avoid pronoun confusion. But yes, there's more to the plot than sex. Like sacrifice and such. That's all I'm gonna say.
I've offered copies of the two other releases at Chris' blog also. Those prolly won't appear until after the middle of March, closer to release date. Until then, you should really check out Chris' blog. There's another contest running over there, and she always has good stuff.

Things I saw today that totally made me laugh...
...because who doesn't need a good laugh now and then?
If you're male and you like Twilight, you're gay. I don't mean that in the derogatory sense, I mean it in the "you want to put your testicles against another man's testicles while gripping handfuls of chesthair" kind of way.
- The Oatmeal (you must immediately go read this blog that Chris at Stumblingoverchaos turned me on to.)
Awkward Situation Survival Guide
- Hyperbole and a Half (okay, ANYTHING on this site. Start with the sidebar of favorites. Chris is responsible for this too)
Riding in Cars with Boys. Any of them.
- Bronwyn Green Blog (Seriously, this makes me laugh every time)
Go forth and enjoy your weekend.
Love,
Mia

Dangerous Distraction TODAY
.jpg)
Yep, DD releases today over at Total-E-Bound. Friends of mine are running a contest for a copy of either this one or Freeze Frame. You'll want to check it out if you'd like a chance at a freebie. See CHRIS or JANNA for details!!
Today also happens to be the day that KRIS tells me what my story challenge will be. All those ridiculous selections have been tallied and the most popular choices will be posted. I will have to incorporate their selections into a 2k erotic m/m romance for her to post by mid April. LOL!! CANNOT WAIT to see what the verdict is.
Things that happened this weekend... OMG there's so much to say!
I went to spend the weekend at a family gathering. Because I'm really bad about unpacking things, I had a bag of fantastic sex toys still in my roller case. Since my sister's kids were there, and they are the nosiest creatures I've come across, I had to hide the bag. I did that by sticking it into a cardboard box and putting it up high in the bathroom closet... that only I use. No risk, right?
Not so!
I went with my nieces to play soccer outside. The sun was bright and I called my mother to bring her sunscreen when she brought the picnic basket. She arrived and we had the cream. It was all good. She said she'd looked in my bathroom (the creams and lotions are on the bottom shelf there and towels above) but couldn't find where she'd put the other bottles of sunblock.
It wasn't until close to midnight that I was getting ready for bed when I heard something in the next room over. I tiptoed closer but no, it wasn't there, it was nearer than that. Like in the bathroom nearer. I listened, opened the closet, and with horror, pulled down the cardboard box. Mom had turned on all my "appliances" and left them running!
OMG! Passive aggressive displeasure?? She never said a word. I went to bed blushing but also laughing hysterically. Next time, I'm totally unpacking my suitcase before a trip.
Another awesome thing that happened this weekend was that a younger man (don't worry, he was legal) offered himself to me as a sex slave. MY sex slave. He likes being told to do dirty things. I asked him what he meant and he said anything at all that got me hot was okay with him. I'm not into casual sex, but holy fuck what a temptation that would be!! Totally submissive to my pleasure! That's a slave I wouldn't mind having. Too bad I don't know the guy.
Have a great Monday, everyone. Don't forget to stop by Chris', Janna's, or Kris'.

Lutefisk is not a starship entre
So I'm hanging out on other people's blogs and having guilty thoughts about no writing my own. You'd understand, though, if you went to CHRIS' or KRIS' or JANNA'S and saw what was going on in the comments section. Clearly, there are misguided individuals of loving nature who think I'm funny. They're deluded but we'll allow them their fantasy since I look good in it.
It's being a lot of fun. Chris posted an excerpt of Freeze Frame and a chance to win a copy. Everyone is giving me happy thoughts and sweetness over there. Janna posted a hot and steamy excerpt from Freeze Frame on her blog and then followed it up with an interview. There are computer fixers around the country cursing me for the beverage spray. Sorry. I'm not that funny. It's their fault. Really. Kris has challenged me to a m/m story piece of about 2k for mid-April.
Lutefisk? The bridge of the Starship Enterprise?? RED FREAKIN' M&Ms??? What the hell am I talking about? Commentors are picking from a list of possible inclusions that MUST go into the story I'm challenged with. These are just some of the hairball choices I'm seeing. And we have Kris and Bronwyn to thank for this mess. Geez. Being trapped on a starship with Lutefisk cooking is something no one should have to live through. The smell alone will put you at warp speed... to the porcelain throne!
But I'm a playah! I'm all about it and I can't wait to get my hands on the finished choices. Bronwyn, there will be payback (she told Kris the things which nast me out. She's a giver).
Right. So. I'm off to work and snark on blogs. Ta!

Got Art
So tomorrow, I have this little release thingy happening. Open Sesame is coming out from Resplendence Publishing. It's part of an anthology but can be purchased separately while still in ebook format... which is like, three months or so. For the time being, here's my brand-spankin'-new cover art for my February 2nd release, F.U. It's a menage. Just for you curious, menage literally translates to "household" and does not mean it can only have three participating sexual partners. Which is good, since F.U. has five. Heh. I love the cover.

We went through one generation of mullet hair and I had to have the cover artist add glasses to one of the guys, long hair to my Asian dude, and change one of the background hotties to an African American. It's a very well rounded book. With lots of *ahem* action... and stuff. I'll post a blurb on it later, but for now, enjoy the art.
Oh and also, go over to Stumbling Over Chaos where a lucky winner will get a copy of each of the four stories in the Not Quite Wicked anthology... the one with my story, Open Sesame. The drawing is tomorrow! Head over and make sure you enter for your chance to win. Click the link and scroll til you find it.
