Did I really think this through? Why doesn't anyone ever "check" me on shit like this?

I'm trying to blog more frequently now that I'm settled. It's a challenge even though this is a holiday break and most businesses are either shut down, shutting down, or manic because everyone else shut down but them and they need to make money STAT.

Or, that's my uneducated opinion on the matter. Still, I think it's a fair one.

So, blogging. I was thinking about my schedule the other day. This past year I had to SERIOUSLY back off my intended projects in order to accommodate some unforeseen circumstances and some blatantly annoying interruptions in my personal life. This year, I'm full steam.

I may once again be biting off more than I can chew, but if one is determined perhaps it's not so bad. A friend of mine, we'll call her Brynn Paulin, for that is her name, has some months with three releases. If she can do that, plus have a family, and a day job, and a side job, then I can easily manage my upcoming plan of action. I work from home now as a writer full time. There should be no issues with simply putting words and plot on paper, now should there.

The answer here is, no. Theoretically.

So why do I feel like a moron for planning and committing to about 16 completed and submitted books before the end of August? I didn't even plan beyond August because I got to sixteen, bugged my eyes, and thought, Golly, Mia, you're slightly insane after all!

But I shall attempt it never the less. There are seven books which cannot be moved. I suppose if I start to sink, I can move some of the others.

*whimper*

Until then, best of luck with your writing and best of enjoyment with your reading. One more day of shopping if that's your holiday of choice. Remember, be fierce, be ruthless, and then apologize for swiping the last container of eggnog.
