I've been remiss

So, I've been a little remiss. This morning I got a lovely email from a reader who is having trouble locating my recent works on the Internet.

To the reader, it's all my fault. I'm sorry.

I don't often talk about my personal life on the Internet. There's a lot of garbage out here and a lot of people who don't need to know what's happening. Suffice it to say, it's been a rough year for me. But I'll give you something to get an idea. Here are two music clips.

This first one was heard in concert by Bronwyn. She heard the words and and I popped to mind. She said, "That's my Mia." Which I find both flattering and scary to see how much of me she's seen, beneath the words. It makes me cry almost every time. She does knows my story and all I've been through.

This next one is one I listened to over and over again for a few months, about a year ago. My relationship gone sour. The one who wouldn't let go although he'd let go.

That's not to say that we can't work through problems or that we don't heal, or that we can't push through to continue on. These are just tiny windows in a long journey. Fortunately my publishers have been incredibly sympathetic and pushed back my release dates into something more manageable for me.

So, for my readers, please forgive me. I have several more releases coming out.

In December:
Knight Falls (TEB)
Boiling Point (RP)

In November (I think):
Eat Me (TEB)

In March:
Unchaste (RP)

In May:
Horny, Hard, and Hare-y (RP)

In June:
Hitched (RP)

I'm currently working on (all working titles):
Faking Perfection
Take It
Unnamed Menage
Unnamed Menage

The above pending items are ones that don't have a publisher yet. I haven't pitched them, although I have a few in mind. There is one book (the second Darkness series book) which is being considered by Samhain. I should know if they want it by the end of this month. If not, I'll take it somewhere else. Maybe self-pub. I'm not sure yet.

I'm writing Boiling Point while I do the working titles. And moving. Yes, I'm moving to Michigan, so it's a little hectic around here right now.

Anyway, I hope that clears up some of the confusion. Happy weekend, everybody! And here's one of my favorite songs at the moment, just to put a happier spin on things...

PS. This in no way is me telling you to fuck off. I just really like the song.

Well said Mia. Sometimes an acknowledgement goes a long way. You still are a person before anything else and are entitled to deal with things any way you want to!

Yay for the move! I've been reading your posts this week; just too busy to comment.

Glad you had a great weekend full of blog-funny moments:)

Well, hello there, you two!
@Barb-Absolutely. We all have our things that come up which throw us for a spin. I've had about four really tough years topped by the most recent which was a doozy. Next year will be difficult in a completely different way. Until then, I'm writing my ass off. :)

@Moll-I'm so happy to be moving. This has been a long time coming. Um, four years, not so coincidentally. LOL. Now I just have to sew up loose ends here before I can pack up and take off.

thanks for reading my blog all week!

I'm glad you're moving on with your life. It does take time, but we all heal. Hugs Mia. If you ever need someone to vent to hit me up. :)
