shall I, or shan't I?

I think I'm going to move. What's life without a little shake up every now and then? I considered changing apartments last year and decided against it as my neighbors were quite entertaining. However, this place is small and I'm tired of having my eyes assaulted by Johnson, the nude vacuumist.

But where shall I go? I'm not sure yet if I'll stay in Minnesota or move away for different scenery. I have friends all over. My closest friends are in Michigan. I may have to run some in house searches to see if my company has offices there.

Have you ever picked up on a whim? Do you regret it?

I moved from NY to RI for my husband. While it wasn't on a whim it was a huge move for someone like me. I'd never been that far away from my family.
Five years later, while I don't regret it, I do miss home.
Good luck with your decision.

Ah but you moved for someone else. This would be a move for me. I've yet to decide what I'll do. I think I'll give it a month and see if the idea stands.

I picked up and moved in order to get away from an idiot. Proved to be a smart move; I got away from him and ended up marrying my husband:)

I had started out living with friends, but moved 30 miles north in order to be with The Idiot before I knew he was one. I tried getting him to leave, but it didn't work, so I left. In hindisght, I would have stuck to the original plan and stayed with my friends, to save money. But being young and stupid, I thought it was a good move at the time.

Ah well...everything worked out in the end.

But if you move, there would be no more stories of you kissing the neighbor's brother! Any more run-ins with those two???

I would move constantly but hubby likes stability. I love a change of scene.

As a Minneapolitan myself, I feel pretty spoiled - especially after driving through Michigan yesterday. Lots of areas that are not doing well there. :(

Oh - do you have a feed for your blog? I've tried assorted ways to subscribe, but Google Reader keeps insisting it can't find a feed. :(

Hey Chris, yeah, MI has been hit pretty bad. It has a 25% unemployment rate and is the worst in the nation.

I had to write the html for this blog and Blogger doesn't give up its links. Still, if you go to the top of this page (scroll up) there's usually a blue (or some other color) bar. It has an orange and white "B" then a blank search box. Reading left to right, after the search box, it says, "Search Blog", "Flag Blog", "Follow Blog". Click Follow and that should work.

And welcome! Glad to have you Chris.

Thanks, Mia - I figured out the follow thing a few minutes after I left the comment!
