I may have succeeded in coercing the co-writer to finish her portion of the project. This could be interesting. She wants no attachment to the manuscript and will sign the rights to me. Could this be a twinge of guilt I feel?

I have a curiosity living down the hall. I discovered M in the laundry room reading a book. While this isn't curious in itself, I thought it interesting that while there are ample number of chairs in the room, the young woman read while sitting on the washing machine. Let it be said that the washing machines in our building are quite unbalanced. Her position did not level the contraption but seemed to take advantage of the rocking unit.

Could it be she is enjoying a healthy vibration? I swear to you, she did not turn the page once in the twenty minutes I was there, though she stared hard at the pages. A reader or getting herself off? I must say she was particularly intent during spin cycle.

Note to self: "Mia, pay attention to M in future. The creature is quite diverting in her oddness."
