Weekend Thoughts

So over the weekend, my book Balls and Chain (Now at Resplendence) went from number 7 to number 6 on the top ten best sellers at All Romance eBooks. I'm flabbergasted. I mean, She's Got Balls (also at Resplendence) did very well and has continued to sell well over the past two years. It was at the urging of fans that I decided there needed to be more Balls books.

With Balls and Chain performing so well, I'm very hopeful that The Policeman's Balls will be well received. And by that, I don't mean unzipping your friendly neighborhood cop and letting them swing. My next book in the Balls series, The Policeman's Balls, is a lighthearted love story. I think Balls and Chain, while fun, got mired in plot detail. At least, to my eye it did. I deliberately kept The Policeman's Balls light on plot and heavy on fun.

Here's hoping it does as well!

In other thoughts, I'm debating whether or not to post a letter I received last night via email. It's from someone I have put off and tried to cut contact with several times now. He doesn't get it. No, not my crazy neighbor but someone not unlike him.

I try not to post things that would harm those I care about and even for those that I don't particularly care for, I feel a sense of protection for their extreme stupidity (at least in this case there's stupidity). However, I've also informed these individuals that continued contact of this nature would result in posting. Apparently, that's not a concern to people like him.

Thoughts? Is it evil, though I've warned and rewarned this person? You would not believe the message I received. It's... shocking.

@Amber and @Molly, I might just. We'll see. I have to weigh the pros and cons. Mostly, this guy has been able to look me up even when I'm not listed. I'm not sure I want to aggravate him by posting his email.

Congrats, Mia. Well-deserved. About the letter...don't know...

First of all, I say, "bring on more Balls!!" These books are fantastic!

Second of all, be careful with shocking-message-sender-guy. Maybe he has no clue to his weirdness? Maybe he's looking for his 15 minutes of fame by pushing you to post his stuff? Maybe he's someone you should report to the authorities??
