Boiling Points

Dell finally decided to let me get online today. For the past week, my computer has decided that I don't need to use ANY moving picture applications. Not Adobe Flashplayer, not windows media player, not silverlight... nothing. Suddenly that decided to start working last night. One minute, nothing on my screen moved. I closed the lid, came back about five minutes later, and VOILA!

In exchange for Dell's generosity of, oh, actually doing its job, it decided to hijack all three of my internet browsers. Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer WOULD. NOT. OPEN. I could see four of my email accounts through Windows Live Mail, which imports it to one location, but actually accessing the Internet? No dice.

It was only after a virus scan (clean), and a factory hard-reboot (remove the cord, remove the battery, hold the power button down for the count of forty) that I was THEN able to get a browser when I clicked a link in an email.

Niiiii-iiiice Dell. I hate Dell. I'll never buy them again. This computer is the FOURTH refurbished computer I've gotten in a year and a half since I bought the original. None of them have worked. And this one is a 7i. I'm just putting that out there.

Now that my rant is over. I get to tell you that my book comes out today at Resplendence!!!
Boiling Point is the fourth book in the Faerily Imperfect series. This one is m/f and features Fauna (Flora's twin sister), and an Elemental named Cooper. Since she hates all things faery, Cooper has his work cut out for him.

Blurb:
Fauna Harper was cursed with the ability to disappear at random moments. The faeries have given her nothing but trouble, and there is no way she’ll ever invite that kind of trickery into her personal life. Assigned to work with a sexy new hire, she’s grateful to leave an office full of half-faery siblings and faery reminders behind. Cooper’s slow smile promises romance, and a lot of heat.

Cooper Blank is on a mission to guard proprietary cloning research for the council of elementals. Getting a job at Harper Security was the first step, being assigned was the second. The fact that he gets to work with Fauna, just sweetens the deal. Even though Fauna agrees to some afterhours sex play, Cooper’s feelings for her are anything but casual.

As the chemistry between Fauna and Cooper ignites, Cooper wants to come clean about his true nature. Unfortuantely, the identity of the culprit outs him before he gets the chance. Now, not only has the job just become more complicated, but he’s betrayed Fauna’s trust, and she isn’t accepting apologies.

Their relationship has reached a boiling point, and Cooper just hopes he can convince Fauna to give him a chance, before he loses her to the fall-out.

I'll post an excerpt tomorrow, once I know what Resplendence is putting up on the site. Thank you for stopping by!

Yeah, Dell promised me a new one twice already. They've given me four refirbs, each with different issues. I don't think Dell knows where their ass is... unless of course they outsourced that to India too.

I'm glad they have 24hr service, but I wish I understood them and that they'd quit putting me on hold for an hour and then hanging up on me. I'm too frustrated with Dell to ever want to work with them, or recommend them to anyone. They are literally a waste of money.

I'd like to point out, that typical to Dell standards, that link up there, doesn't work.
