Scrubbing behind the ears

All the chaos... all the drama...

Whew. Finally, nearly, completely over. I cannot tell you how awesome it feels. You asked to know what was going on. Well, I'm gonna tell you. And there's a lot to clear up.

Most people get that pen names have their own personas attached. Like most, I have one in Mia. Mia, though, tells all my real life stories and there are only minor differences. Mia has nieces she adores, lives in Minnesota, is moving to Michigan, has crazy ass klutzo stories of weirdness.

The real Mia, is indeed moving to Michigan (in one week! OMG) and has crazy ass klutzo stories of weirdness. She lived for many, many years in Minnesota and misses it to this day. However, the real Mia doesn't have nieces (okay, she has ONE niece), she has daughters that are as wacky as she is, and she lives in Texas (for one more week. OMG). She hates Texas. I mean, I hate Texas. I just bought a house (a double-wide, which when you say it in Texas, you have to smoosh all the letters together and drawl it out: dubbuhwahhhhd tray-luh). The real Mia (um, me) just finalized a divorce last Monday and is ECSTATIC!

So here I am, being me, with my proverbial panties around my ankles (yes, again). This is why I've been so happy that everything has come together lately.

Everything else is legit. They are all my experiences including the ass-flashing on Main St and the boob display on my flight from California (visiting Julia Rachel Barrett) back to my home diggs.

So, this is me, in my birthday suit. Hope I haven't pissed anyone off. There are things that have to be kept hidden for the sake of my children and because my extended family would riot and I don't want the drama.

When I refer to my nieces in the future, mentally translate, "daughters". When I discuss my sucky ex, translate, "bastard ex-husband who stole from my children and was an emotionally abusive SOB with mama issues" (I'm sorry, did that sound bitter?). But when I tell you about things that happen in everyday life? Yeah, that's all real.

Woot! I'm free at last. I'm free at last. Thank God, Almighty, I am FREE at last!

Congrats, Mia, and I wish you the absolute best in your new start! :D I envy you your snow in Michigan. I'm finally getting my ass out of Florida sometime in 2012 and moving north (I actually thought of Minnesota XD).

Best of luck and I'm so happy for you. :D

Freedom and a new start sounds wonderful. I'm glad you are looking forward instead of backwards and Mia is still Mia to your fans. Best wishes for your new life in Michigan.
