Projects, Updates, and the general et al of it.

So I finished two books for TEB. They've contracted now and I'm allowed to talk about them a little.

Eat Me is a m/m shifter story. It was intended to be a short on it's own, but it turns out my editor liked it for a collection of shifter stories. Eat Me went into that collection and suddenly (because I'm insane and selfish) I wanted to keep the other slot possibility. I wrote a second m/m shifter story, Wild Thing, and that one is releasing in August sometime. I could ask my editor for the exact date, but she's been really busy and I should know this already.

Yes, I suck.

I haven't the foggiest when Eat Me releases as part of that collection. I CAN tell you that Knight Moves, book three of the Bad Boys series, Men in Blue looks like it'll fit nicely into that December slot I'm planning.

You know what else I found out? That the Men in Blue books (Bad Boys, Bad Boys; Reasonable Doubt; and Knight Moves) are going to suck in another book, Dangerous Distraction. How do I know this? Knight Moves joins a character from the Blue series with a character from DD! See how tidy that is. ;) We just decided it was easier to make them all attached.

Right now, though, I'm working on Boiling Point. It's a m/f erotic paranormal and the fourth book in the Faerily Imperfect series. It does stand alone so if you don't read m/f, that's okay, you won't miss anything. Also if you don't read m/m, you can pick up this book and Faerily Surprising because they are m/f books that stand by themselves too.

So that's the scope of things right now. Write Boiling Point, write Knight Moves, write Hitched (book five menage). Then next year, I'm in a year long anthology project called Moon Phases that are all shifter stories. I will have two of them to complete and release within the first quarter of the year.

I submitted book two of the Darkness series to a publisher who was interested. For those of you who don't know, Claimed by Darkness is under lock and key and chains and guard dogs and growling minions at Ellora's Cave. I wrote a second book which they wouldn't return rights to until May. Now I have it back in my hot little hand and it's being looked at by a third publisher. Hopefully, I'll hear soon about that after they've had a chance to look it over.

Though if they don't go for it, and I wouldn't blame them as it would make them share the series with EC, I'll probably take it over to self-pubbing with marketing through 1Romanceebooks.com. We'll see.

Then, I have already begun Faking Perfection. I've got it on hold because of the Catholic priest molestation drama going on. My story is m/m priest lovin'. I want the drama to die down a little before I have a publisher look at it. I have someone in mind who may be interested. Again, if that doesn't work, I might self-pub it.

I guess that's all. Just wanted to give you a heads up on what's happening in my writing world. Happy reading and writing everyone.

Yer so cute. But now everyone thinks I don't shower. LOL.

(everyone: see Writer's Evo post yesterday. I actually do shower daily. I'm super fresh-girl)

I type really fast, Julia. And I don't pick up the phone or text unless it's absolutely necessary. Otherwise I'd be on the phone all day. :)

@ Chris. If it does, I need to go back and reread it. LOL. Everyone is set in MN, State of wonders.

@ Julia and Tessie. My dears I love you for that. It was a challenge and a thrill to write that book. The secret is, the other book has been written for over a year. ;) WAITING for YOU. Quiver away!

LMAO. So I've been reading your blog backward because I am woefully behind. (most recent to oldest.) and when I read 'general et al' I read it as genital because of the whole OBGYN postings above. Just thought I'd share.

Hope you and Julia are having a blast.
