How do you measure success?

"...the definition of insanity--doing the same things over and over and expecting different results."

"...if you don't like the story of your life thus far, you can rip up the script and write a completely new one."

~taken from "The Turning Point", by Darren Hardy, publisher of Success Magazine.

I've been thinking a lot lately about what it takes to be successful. Maybe it's my business and maybe it's because my boss is surprisingly stupid for a guy who makes more than I do and does less. However, because of that seniority, I am debating whether or not he lacks intelligence if after all, I am the sucker who puts up with it.

Certainly something must be said for the fact that he arrived in the business sooner than I, and that he is male in a male dominated industry. Still, I think there must be a key to this success thing. What have I determined so far? I don't like my personal script. It's time for a rewrite and this time the TSTL heroine (moi) isn't repeating old habits.

Clean slate. Now I must fill it.
